Your Care
Led by Dr. Chelsy McCormick, continuing Dr. Richardson’s trusted legacy — comfort-focused care for every smile, at every stage of life.

In Pittsburg, people knew where to go when they wanted honest service, a familiar face, and a business that remembers their name. Pittsburg has trusted Dr. Larry Richardson to take care of their family dental care for decades. And now one of his very own dental hygienists is taking on the legacy of care.
That’s the heartbeat of McCormick Family Dental.
This isn’t just a new chapter—it’s a continuation of a legacy. After more than 22 years as a dental hygienist, including seven spent in this very office, Dr. Chelsy McCormick has returned home as the new owner and lead dentist. She’s here to carry forward a decades-long tradition of family-first care in the heart of Pittsburg.
Whether you’re a longtime patient or a new face in town, you’ll feel the difference from the moment you walk in. This is more than a dental office.
It’s where generations come to smile.

“This isn’t just a business to me. It’s home. I’m proud to be back in Pittsburg serving the people I grew up with—and raising my own family alongside yours. We’re keeping the heart of this practice alive while making it better than ever. That means updated tools, a comfortable experience, and a team that treats you like family.”

The visits that keep problems small.
Relief when it hurts, repair that lasts.
Confidence you can see in the mirror.

Yes. New patients are welcome, and so are their families — call (903) 856-6688 or send the form and we'll find you a time.
We're out of network with all insurances. We do file your claims as a courtesy, so the paperwork isn't left to you — but what your plan pays back is between you and them, and we won't guess at a number. Bring your plan and we'll tell you what we know before anything starts.
We offer CareCredit and Sunbit as financing options. Both are applied for with the lender rather than with us — ask at the front desk and we'll point you to them. Either way, you get the cost in writing before any work begins; we don't start treatment you haven't agreed to.
No, and you're in more company than you'd think. People stop coming for all kinds of reasons and most of them are perfectly good ones. We're interested in where your mouth is now and what to do about it, not in where you've been.
