What it is
Teeth pick up colour over years from coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco. Professional whitening lifts that staining in a controlled way, under supervision.
It doesn't work the same on everything. Natural enamel responds; crowns, veneers and fillings don't change colour at all, so if you have them at the front, that's worth talking about before you start rather than after.
We'll tell you plainly what we think you'll get. If we don't think it'll make much difference for you, we'll say so.

Questions people ask
Will it make my teeth sensitive?
Some people get temporary sensitivity to cold during and shortly after. It usually settles. Tell us if your teeth are already sensitive — it changes how we'd approach it.
What about my crown / filling at the front?
It won't change colour. If your natural teeth lighten around it, it can end up standing out. That's exactly the sort of thing to raise before starting.
How long does it last?
Months to a couple of years, depending mostly on what you drink and whether you smoke. It's a top-up, not a one-off.
What it costs
We can’t put a number on this page honestly — it depends on your mouth and your plan. What we can tell you is how it works: we look first, we explain what we think you need, and you get the cost in writing before anything starts. We don’t begin work you haven’t agreed to, and we won’t pressure you into treatment you don’t need.
We're out of network with all insurances. We do file your claims as a courtesy, so the paperwork isn't left to you — but what your plan pays back is between you and them, and we won't guess at a number. Bring your plan and we'll tell you what we know before anything starts.
